Nursing Home Neglect

Nursing Home Neglect

Many nursing homes don’t take the steps they should to make sure they have qualified personnel to take care of the residents or to make sure the care they give is appropriate and competent.

It’s a heart-breaking but sometimes inevitable scenario. Your loved one has finally reached the point of requiring 24 hour care.  You have done your homework and tried to find a facility that will be responsive and qualified. You can rest assured that your loved one is in good hands.

You expect nursing home workers to give your family member the same attention and care that you would. Unfortunately, often that ends up not being the case.

Many nursing homes don’t take the steps they should to make sure they have qualified personnel to take care of the residents or to make sure the care they give is appropriate and competent. Sadly, abuse happens all too frequently. Whether it is passive or active neglect, physical abuse, or psychological abuse, the elderly and incapacitated can be the victims of nursing home neglect. The abuse can result in horrific injuries, such as bedsores, fractures or even death.

If that happens, Chad Goetz will put his resources to work to fully investigate your family member’s situation and do everything in his power to protect them and prevent something like this from happening again.
